Aryan Khan Drugs Case: WhatsApp Chats Between Witnesses Gosavi And Sail Raise Questions
Many secrets related to the Cruise Drugs Case have been exposed by the new revelations from NCB's key witness Prabhakar Sail's affidavit and WhatsApp chats.
New Delhi: In a new turn in the drug bust case involving Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, a purported WhatsApp chat between NCB's key witnesses KP Gosavi and Prabhakar Sail has surfaced, throwing up fresh questions.
The WhatsApp chat texts, accessed by ABP News, purportedly show that private detective KP Gosavi and Company ran an extortion racket posing as NCB officials. The chat dated October 3 shows a conversation between KP Gosavi and Prabhakar Sail, which hint at a conspiracy hatched by the former even before the NCB raided the cruise ship set to sail for Goa from Mumbai on October 2.
Who is KP Gosavi?
KP Gosavi first came into the limelight when a selfie of him with Aryan Khan went viral after the latter's arrest. He had claimed himself to be a private detective. Currently, Gosavi is under judicial custody on charges of forgery and fraud in a 2018 case.
Who is Prabhakar Sail?
Prabhakar Sail, another important witness of the NCB in the drugs on cruise ship case, had been Gosavi’s driver. His name features in the WhatsApp chats accessed by ABP News.
Sail has given an affidavit to the Vigilance Investigation Team of the NCB, in which many revelations have been made related to Aryan's arrest and also the extortion case, according to sources. He is also learnt to have submitted to the NCB the chats he had with Gosavi.
Transcript of the purported WhatsApp chat:
KP Gosavi to Prabhakar Sail: Go to Haji Ali and get the work done that I told you to. Come back home from there.
Prabhakar Sail: okay sir
KP Gosavi: Lock from outside and throw the keys in the hall from the window.
Prabhakar Sail: Okay sir.
KP Gosavi: Go fast and come back early.
According to sources, Sail and Gosavi's WhatsApp chat hints at a controversy hatched by the latter surrounding the NCB raid on the cruise party. According to Prabhakar Sail’s affidavit, he was asked by KP Gosavi to go to Haji Ali and collect Rs 50 lakh cash from someone near Indiana Hotel. Prabhakar Sail reached there at 9.45 am, where a white car came and the occupant handed two bags full of money to him.
NCB's key witness KP Gosavi was dealing behind the scenes in the Aryan Khan case, the sources said. In his affidavit, Sail said he had brought the two bags full of money at Gosavi's behest. In another disclosure in the same affidavit, Sail revealed that KP Gosavi had 10 persons on hit "hit list" even before the NCB raided the cruise party.
All high profile names on KP Gosavi’s 'hit list'
In his disclosure, Prabhakar Sail said that many people were already identified before the NCB raid and a trap was laid for their arrest. He claimed that Gosavi had sent him photos of many people via WhatsApp and told him to inform him if these people are seen leaving the Green Gate on the cruise.
ABP News has accessed all those chats, in which it can be seen that Gosavi had sent pictures of 10 people to Sail. All the 10 targets of KP Gosavi were high-profile people. One of those 10 targets was also recognised by Prabhakar Sail and he also informed this to Gosavi through WhatsApp.
According to Prabhakar Saill's affidavit, at around 4:23 pm on October 3, Gosavi told Sail that NCB has arrested 13 people in this case.
Conspiracy of the extortion case
ABP News has got hold of some photos that include Sail's selfie standing near the cruise ship. Some pictures also show Gosavi standing right behind NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede.
Investigators suspect that KP Gosavi, through these pictures, may have wanted to show himself as a member of the NCB team, and not a private person. In another WhatsApp chat, also accessed by ABP News, between Sail and NCB employee Sameer Salekar. The chat shows Sail had sent a image of his Aadhaar card to Salekar.
Prabhakar Sail said in his affidavit that he was made a witness and was made to sign 10 blank papers with no one telling him their content. At the time, he did not even have his Aadhaar card with him, so he sent it to Salekar later on WhatsApp, the sources said.
