Karnataka Govt Announces Two-Day State Mourning As Mark Of Respect To Legendary Lata Mangeshkar

New Delhi: Karnataka government on Sunday has announced two days of state mourning as a token of respect to the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, fondly known as "Nightingale of India".

The legendary singer breathed her last on Sunday at the age of 92. Her mortal remains have reached Shivaji Park and Pm Modi has reached the park to pat final tributes. After the news of her demise, Bollywood including the politicians of the country has poured-in condolences messages. Bommai too expressed his heartfelt condolences.

Bommai in a tweet said, "As I spoke to Usha Mangeshkar ji, I expressed heartfelt condolences on the demise of her sister and India's greatest musical legend."
