In an attempt to praise the recent attempts by BJP leaders of ‘luring’ Dalits, Pratap compared BJP leaders with lord Ram. “The way lord Ram blessed Shabri by eating her berries, similarly BJP leaders bless Dalits by going to their houses”. The statement comes days after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spent a night at Dalit village and ate at Dalit’s house in Uttar Pradesh.  Recently, Yogi’s party leaders can also be seen eating at Dalit homes. Yogi's minister's controversial statement, says With only months left for 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Yogi had asked his party leaders to spend maximum time in Dalit villages in the wake of massive Dalit protests that were launched in the country for their rights. Afraid to lose the Dalit voters, after their fight for rights, BJP leaders have been laying special focus on them.
