Yoga Day At UN, High-Level Meeting With Biden: PM Modi Leaves For 3-Day US Visit — Top Points

PM Modi will meet US President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Hariris, and State Secretary Antony Blinken.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday morning left for his three-day visit to the United States from the national capital. He is scheduled to participate in the Yoga Day at the United Nations on June 21. PM Modi will also meet US President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Hariris, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken. During his US trip, PM Modi will also meet with leading CEOs and professionals and will interact with the members of the Indian diaspora in the US.

As he left for the US, PM Modi said he was confident that his visit "will reinforce our ties based on shared values of democracy, diversity, and freedom." "My discussions with President Joe Biden, and other senior US leaders will provide an opportunity to consolidate bilateral cooperation," he added.

Here are the top points on his first State visit to the US.

  • On June 21, PM Modi will participate in the International Yoga Day event at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
