ABP-CVoter Survey: Will Congress's Decision To Skip Ram Mandir Inauguration Hit Its Lok Sabha Polls Prospects?

The ABP News-CVoter survey gauged voters' mood on whether Congress should attend the Ram Mandir 'pran pratishtha' ceremony on January 22.

New Delhi: Congress has "declined" the invitation to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya Ram Mandir scheduled for January 22. Top Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury have accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of making the Ram Mandir event into a "political project" for electoral gains.

As political dynamics unfold, the decision raises questions about its potential impact on the party's prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

ABP News, in association with CVoter, conducted a survey to gauge public opinion on whether the Congress should attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Of the respondents surveyed, including both NDA and Opposition voters, an overwhelming 63.8 per cent said ‘yes’ when asked "if the Congress should attend the ceremony". Will Opposition Alliance 'Benefit' Or Get 'Harmed' By Following Congress' Strategy?

As many as 52.2 per cent of respondents said it will ‘harm’ the alliance while another 21.1 per cent stated they “don’t know” or “can’t say”.
