Why Anand Mahindra gifted this 'creative' auto driver a brand new four-wheeler!

New Delhi: A man in Kerala with his fair bit of innovation wouldn’t just thank his stars but also his efforts to give his autorickshaw a makeover and get a four wheeler in return. The auto driver from Kerala transformed his vehicle to appear as Mahindra Scorpio from the rear just to establish how much he is in love with the SUV. His creativity was captured by one Anil Panicker who brought it to the notice of Anand Mahindra, Executive Chairman Mahindra Group in March, 2017. Anand Mahindra was so impressed with the man’s modification that he wanted to buy the auto and preserve it in the company’s museum! “Iconic. A way to ‘Rise.’ Thanks for sharing this.Can you help locate him? I’d like to buy it for our museum & give him 4 wheels in return,” The CEO had tweeted in March. The industrialist immediately activated his team to locate the driver. Sunil was tracked and gifted a brand new four-wheeler from the company . Anand share the news on Twitter and also posted a picture of the man. The industrialist was also lauded for keeping his word. In January this year, he had shared a picture of a Pininfarina Maserati Birdcage (2006) and wrote that that is one cage he doesn’t mind being imprisoned in. To which a sarcastic Twitetr user tweeted why doesn’t Mahindra buy the car if he liked it so much. The businessman responded in way, the user wouldn’t have believed, “We bought the company instead…(Pininfarina)“!
