New Delhi: Don Munna Bajrangi was shot dead inside Baghpat jail in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. The death news of the gangster came just before he was going to be introduced in Baghpat court to give his statement in Rangdari case. As per the report, a gun was fired at Munna Bajrangi by another inmate Sunil Rathi. Meanwhile, the investigation team has arrived at District Jail Baghpat where Gangster Munna Bajrangi has been shot dead. Who was Don Munna Bajrangi  • Munna Bajarangi's real name was Prem Prakash Singh. • He was born in the year 1966 in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur district. • He was a dreaded contract killer, gang leader from Eastern Uttar Pradesh. • He was also a part of Don Mukhtar Ansari's gang. • Bajrangi was one of the accused in the murder of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai in the year 2005. • Since 2009, he was in jail for the gangland murder of MLA Krishnanand Rai in 2005. • He was the most wanted don of Uttar Pradesh's Purvanchal. • He had also fought elections under some parties of India. • He was on Monday shot dead inside Baghpat jail just before he was going to be produced in front of Baghpat court. Watch- Advocate of the gangster, V Srivastava Bajrangi was quoted by ANI as saying that Munna was brought to District Jail Baghpat from Jhansi last night. At 6:30am today, a convict lodged in the jail shot him dead and hid the pistol in the gutter. He also said that a few days ago, he had made UP CM Yogi Adityanath aware of the threat to gangster's life. Meanwhile, UP CM said that he has ordered a judicial inquiry and suspension of the jailor. Calling such an incident occurring inside jail premises as a serious matter, Adityanath said that he will conduct an in-depth investigation and strict action will be taken against those responsible.
