WB Election 2021: Mamata Banerjee Intended To Loot Booths, MoS Nityanand Rai Alleges
MoS Nityanand Rai was taking part in 'Chai Pe Charcha' at Titagarh when he made the allegation against CM Mamata Banerjee.
Kolkata: The Battle for Bengal is only getting more intense as the Minister of State for Home Affairs has alleged that CM Mamata Banerjee intended to look poll boths to win the upcoming West Bengal Assembly Election 2021.
MoS Nityanand Rai was taking part in 'Chai Pe Charcha' at Titagarh, district of North 24 Parganas on Thursday when he made these remarks.

"Mamata Banerjee had intention on her mind to loot booths, she wanted to win the election by making fooling people. That is why she raised questions about the eight phases of West Bengal election," he alleged.
"The Election Commission did a good arrangement for this state. Mamata Banerjee should not have any objection, no matter how many phases of election are there," he added.
Meanwhile, ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mega rally on March 7, Trinamool Congress has asked the party's ward coordinators to put up flags and posters featuring Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in every nook and corner of the city with the poll 'Bangla Nijer Meyekei Chai' (Bengal wants its daughter) written on them.
Senior leaders like MP Abhishek Banerjee, state president Subrata Bakshi, senior minister and administrator of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) Firhad Hakim, met the ward coordinators at the party headquarters on Thursday where this matter was discussed.
Earlier, BJP and TMC had a faceoff also had over PM Modi's photos placed at Petrol Pumps in hoardings advertising central government schemes, which the latter termed as poll code violation.
