Monsoon Likely On July 2- 3 In Delhi - Check Weather Updates For Your State
The Met Office has also predicted a cyclonic circulation over Northwest Madhya Pradesh, its neighborhood, and East Rajasthan at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
New Delhi: It may rain in Delhi on July 2 and 3, but the Meteorological Department has predicted that conditions are not favourable for further advancement of the Southwest Monsoon for the next 7 days.
The Meteorological Department said, “The prevailing weather conditions, large-scale atmospheric features and predicted wind patterns show that will advance to Southwest Monsoon for the next 6-7 days in Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, remaining parts of Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab ".
According to the National Weather Forecasting Centre, the northern limit of the southwest monsoon (NLM), however, lies at a latitude of 26 degrees north and a longitude of 70 degrees east in Barmer, Bhilwara, Dholpur in Rajasthan, and Aligarh, Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, as well as Ambala in Haryana and Amritsar in Punjab.
The Met Office has also predicted a cyclonic circulation over Northwest Madhya Pradesh, its neighborhood, and East Rajasthan at 0.9 km above mean sea level. Due to a cyclonic circulation, a suggested trough at 0.9 km above sea level, is running over East Rajasthan, and its adjoining areas to West Assam.
The cyclonic circulation over North Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas now lies over North-East Madhya Pradesh and the neighborhood areas at 1.5 km above sea level. A cyclonic circulation is also predicted over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with an elevation of 1.5 to 5.8 km above mean sea level.
The IMD said that the cyclonic circulation up to 2.1 km above sea level has become less marked over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan. IMD has noted a similar cyclonic circulation between 2.1 km to 5.8 km over the South Gujarat region and neighbourhood.
