NEW DELHI: A day after the inauguration of IKEA store in Hyderabad, videos of customers thronging to IKEA's first store in India are now circulating on social media sites. It is said that the 13-acre facility witnessed a footfall of around 30,000 customers in one day. The store which houses 7,500 products and will be operational from 10 am to 11 pm every day of the year, witnessed stampede-like situation. In a video shared by ANI, one can see that the security of IKEA is trying hard to stop the customers. The Swedish store is yet to be seen what would be the position on weekends.

John Achillea, MD Telangana, IKEA, TS IT Minister KTR and other key persons of IKEA had inaugurated India’s first IKEA store at Hyderabad. Customers who came purchase and visit the IKEA store Speaking to ANI said, we heard a lot about IKEA and was waiting since last six months for the store to be opened. We came here to purchase few items. It is really an amazing feeling to visit such a largest store.
