WATCH VIDEO: Bengaluru cop throws shoe at bikers for not wearing helmets

The incident is said to have taken place at Bel road and the policeman reportedly was attached to Jalahalli traffic police station. No complaint has been filed by the youth for being attacked in such a manner.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): A Bengaluru traffic constable was caught on camera throwing a shoe at two bikers on a busy street. The reason why he lobbed the shoe was because they weren't wearing helmets. The video went viral after a city-based YouTuber named Rishabh Chatterjee upload it on social media. The bikers were see ducking while the shoe was landing at them. The bike fortunately did not dis-balance as the rider zipped past through the left side of a bus. Apart from hurling the shoe, the cop did not make any other attempt to stop them. Neither did he make a note of the number plate. (WATCH BELOW) It wasn't immediately known whether they were later booked for violating the law. But the cop's violent attack to stop them would have led to a fatal situation which put other vehicles plying on the road also in serious danger. The incident is said to have taken place at Bel road and the policeman reportedly was attached to Jalahalli traffic police station. No complaint has been filed by the youth for being attacked in such a manner. Last month a 34-year-old pregnant woman was killed after a traffic policeman kicked the two wheeler she was riding on with her husband at Thuvakudi near Tiruchy in Tamil Nadu. He apparently did not stop when asked to, prompting the cop to take such an adverse step.
