Ghaziabad: Mid-night encounter between goons and police rocked the streets of Kavinagar on Thursday night. The whole action got caught in camera, visuals of which are bone chilling. In the visuals, the police officials can be seen chasing the young criminals, who were fleeing on a motorcycle. The cops also fired a few shots at the men on bikes, who in lieu fired back at the officials. The incident took place after the police officials got a tip-off from someone that two criminals would enter Kavinagar and would attempt to commit some crime. Following the tip, the cops were alerted. The moment goons reached the area; cops chased them and nabbed one of the criminals. As soon as the criminals fired at the cops, the cops started firing as well. Post this; they tried to camouflage themselves by entering a nearby forest. Luckily, the cops were successful in nabbing one of the criminals, whereas the other fled. The police will now quiz the nabbed criminal to know more about their intentions and who they are. A team has also been set up to find the second criminal, who is still at large.
