Viral Sach: BJP MP misbehaves with bar-girl while dancing?

New Delhi: A video of a bar girl being allegedly teased by a BJP MP while dancing, has gone viral on social media. In the 72-second-long video it can be seen that a man who is claimed to be BJP MP Karni Singh, is dancing to Bollywood songs with a female dancer dressed in blue.  It is apparent from the video that he while dancing attempts to grab the dancer’s hand who reflexively slaps him. He in turn slaps her. Then he starts beating her, when other people had to interfere. The message following the video questions that what does ‘Modi Ji’ have to say about this act of BJP MP Karni Singh. However, the main question was whether or not the alleged man was BJP MP Karni Singh? A look at the poster in the video tells that the event was taking place in Chittorgarh, Udaipur. After our investigation in Udairpur and Chittorgarh we found out that the said “Deep Musical Group” has gone to Neemuch of Madhya Pradesh for a programme. After enquiring with the team in MP, ABP News found out that the incident took place on March 22 and that the musical group has left for Pratapgarh in Rajasthan. ABP News team reached Pratapgarh and found the 20-year-old dancer seen in the video. The dancer told the team “while I was dancing at a party, a man came up on the stage and started dancing with me. I was co-operating with him and dancing with a little smile, he took my smile in a wrong way and tried to hold my hands twice, but the third time he tried to grab my waist and I slapped him reflexively.” She further added “There are reasons that propel girls to take up a bold profession like this one but this doesn’t give anybody freedom to touch them.” Here is the story of what happened after the video ends. The organizers were refusing to pay the orchestra group and police was called. Police went but a Panchayat was called on the matter. The Panchayat found the man guilty of the act and the girl was allowed to slap the man again publically. The man who was claimed to be BJP MP Karni Singh was in fact a resident of the village in Madhya Pradesh where the programme was organized. In its Viral Sach investigation ABP News found out that although the video is true, the claims attached with the video are false. The man teasing the bar-girl is not BJP MP. Watch the video here:
