Viral Sach: Chinese tanks heading towards Sikkim border for war?
Amid this standoff between armies of India and China on Sikkim border, a video has gone viral on internet claimed the Chinese Army moved military tanks and hardware in Sikkim's Dokalam to wage war against India.
NEW DELHI: Chinese and Indian soldiers have been locked in a face- off in Dokalam area in the southernmost part of Tibet in an area also claimed by Indian ally Bhutan for over a month after Indian troops stopped the Chinese army from building a road in the disputed area.
Amid this standoff between armies of India and China on Sikkim border, a video has gone viral on internet claiming the Chinese Army moved military tanks and hardware in Sikkim's Dokalam to wage war against India.
The one-minute clip showed around 33 tanks moving towards a mountainous region with military vehicles and soldiers.
After China declared that it would increase the Army strength at Dokalam border, this video was doing rounds on social media raising many questions among users.
However, it was found that the video was posted on Twitter by Intel Crab, a website that claimed to monitor of global military movements.
Sources related to cyber security revealed that It was an old video and had nothing to do with the current Dokalam border tension. Moreover, the vehicles shown in the clip are not tanks but general vehicles used to carry army persons.
According to defence experts, this old video can a part of China's Psychological operations (PSYOP) to create pressure on India.
