Video: Man Tries To Commit Suicide On Railway Tracks, Here Is How Mumbaikars Saved Him

The man, identified as Narendra Damaji Kotekar, told the security officer that he wanted to end his life as he was fed up with family issues.

NEW DELHI: In Mumbai's Kurla Railway station, a man quietly went to the tracks and laid down in an attempt to commit suicide on Monday. The whole incident was recorded in the CCTV camera where several people on the platform can be seen who were trying to save him. A few of them jumped on track and dragged him to safety. In the end, he was rescued by commuters and Railway Protection Force personnel. The man said that he wanted to end his life as he was fed up with family problems. The police contacted Kotekar's family and sent him home after counselling. A few days ago, a woman in Mumbai came close to getting severely hurt when she was getting off of a local train, she too was saved by Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawan. Here is the video -
