UP: Family Of Five Found Dead In Prayagraj, Akhilesh Yadav Attacks Yogi Govt

New Delhi: Five members of a family were found dead in Khagalpur village of Nawabganj Police Station area in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj.
Prayagraj Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ajay Kumar said five members of one family were found dead in their house.
He added that the preliminary probe has been done by the police in connection with this case, ANI reported.
“The head of the family, Rahul Tiwari, was found hanging from the ceiling while his wife (Preeti Tiwari) and three daughters were lying dead on bed with wounds from sharp weapon on their necks,” the news agency quoted the senior police official as saying.
The Prayagraj SSP further said the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
“The man’s body was found hanging while his soles were strewn with blood marks. It seems like suicide,” said Kumar.
“The post-mortem report will clear if the man killed all others and then hung himself or some third person committed the crime. The probe is underway,” he added.
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav hit out at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Uttar Pradesh after five members of a family were found murdered in Praygarah district.
Taking to Twitter, the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister wrote in Hindi that Uttar Pradesh has drowned in crime “under the rule of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government 2.0”.
The Samajwadi Party supremo also shared the clipping of a news article that quoted police as saying that the five members of a family, including three children, were found murdered at their home in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj district.
