Video of BJP MLA Harshvardhan Vajpayee threatening an ASP rank officer publicly has viral.
New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya finds himself in soup after a video of his close aide and BJP MLA Harshvardhan Bajpai threatening an ASP rank officer publicly goes viral.
The BJP MLA can be seen threatening the ASP of hitting him with ‘legs and shoes’.
CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Kehsav Prasad Maurya were present in the same campus where the incident took place. After the video went viral the MLA took to the back foot and is trying to put the blame on the ASP. Allahabad SSP Nitin Tiwary has said that a probe will be launched in this direction. The incident took place at around 3:15 PM in Allahabad’s Baghambari Math where CM yogi Adityanath along with some top BJP ministers were invited for a luncheon. Bajpai wanted to enter the campus along with his vehicle but the security personnel at the entrance stopped him citing the protocols and asked him to park the vehicle at the entrance. This infuriated the MLA who started shouting expletives at the ASP. Shouting at the ASP Sunil Kumar Singh he said that they (the ASP and his team) were habitual of being kicked and that they should be thrashed with shoes.#WATCH: BJP MLA Harshvardhan Bajpayee threatening Superintendent of Police in Allahabad.
