"Today I had the privilege of paying a courtesy visit and receiving the guidance of Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji in New Delhi. Heartfelt gratitude to the respected Prime Minister for providing time to meet and for kind guidance amid busy routine," CM Yogi Adityanath wrote in a tweet in Hindi.

Sources have revealed that Congress turncoat Jitin Prasada is likely to be inducted into the cabinet.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister is facing dissent by the MLAs and MPs which led to review meetings in the state by the saffron party. State leaders of the BJP's ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), including Dattatreya Hosbale, have also given similar reports.

Apna Dal (S) leader Anupriya Patel, a BJP ally from Uttar Pradesh who was a minister in the first Modi-led government, also met Home Minister Amit Shah which suggests that the saffron party is reaching out to build allies to improve its position in the state which will go to the assembly polls early next year.

According to reports, Home Minister Amit Shah wants to make the Yogi Adityanath cabinet and party structure more "accommodating". It will also require a fine balance of caste equations within the organization. The CM currently has 42 ministers and can add 18 more.

Yesterday, the Uttar Pradesh CM met Home Minister Amit Shah and he is going to meet BJP president JP Nadda after more than an hour-long discussion with PM Modi.

Yogi Adityanath will also meet President Ram Nath Kovind this evening. It is supposed to be a courtesy meeting.
