Unnao Shocker: Video of six men molesting woman in jungle goes viral, two arrested

The woman was taken from a park to a secluded forest area in order to molest and rape her.

Unnao: In another shocking incident from Uttar Pradesh, a video has gone viral from Unnao where six men can be seen molesting a woman. The video, captured by one of the accused, shows the girl being hounded and molested by a group of youths in broad daylight. The video is said to be two months old and was shot at Gangaghat area of Uttar Pradesh. The three accused are from Baba Kheda Village. Based on an information provided by a woman, the Gangaghat Police was able to identify two accused. Out of the six suspects, the police is now on a manhunt for the three accused and FIR has been registered against six men. One of the accused named Rahul revealed that the woman was sitting in the park with a friend and they then forcefully took her to a secluded forest area in order to rape her. The Superintendent of Police, North Unnao, Anoop Singh said, "A video from Unnao in which three men are molesting a woman has gone viral. We are trying to find the source of the video. Our team is working on it. Once we identify the accused strictest action will be taken against them." This shameful incident puts a big question mark on women’s safety in Uttar Pradesh. Unnao had recently hit the headlines, when its MLA, Kuldeep Sengar, was arrested last month by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the charges of raping a minor.
