'Truth Is Out': MP Home Minister Questions Role Of Swara Bhaskar, Kanhaiya Kumar In Bharat Jodo Yatra

Talking with reporters, he asked: "What else can we expect from a yatra where people like Swara Bhaskar and Kanhaiya Kumar are participating?"

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Sunday alleged that "Pakistan Zindabad" slogans were raised during Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra. He stated: "The live tweet of the slogan 'Pakistan Zindabad' was raised in Bharat Jodo Yatra. The truth has come out finally," news agency ANI reported.

Talking with reporters, he asked: "What else can we expect from a yatra where people like Swara Bhaskar and Kanhaiya Kumar are participating?"

Giving clarification on this matter, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Congress leader Kamal Nath said: "The video that has been released is going live. Who will raise slogans of Pakistan Zindabad during the yatra? These will be done by those who want to disturb the yatra."

In response to the clarification, Mishra on his official Twitter handle writes: "The truth of the slogan 'Pakistan Zindabad' has finally come on the lips of Kamal Nath. Now Mr. Kamal Nath also tell that in this case the FIR lodged against BJP workers in Raipur is not a criminal conspiracy, then what else is it?"

Earlier on Friday, the Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh had said that Rahul Gandhi should understand that India does not connect with the likes of Swara Bhaskar, and Kanhaiya Kumar.

Recently, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) IT Cell chief Amit Malviya alleged that the slogan of "Pakistan Zindabad" were continuously raised during Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. He also shared a video of it, which was termed as fake by the Congress.

In a retaliatory statement, Congress' general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh said that a film "doctored" by the BJP's "dirty tricks section" is being circulated to tarnish the "very successful" Bharat Jodo Yatra.
