Terror attack on Army camp in Pulwama, no injuries reported; Lashkar takes responsibility for attack on BSF vehicle
As per a BSF official, the gunmen opened fire on the BSF vehicle at the Pantha chowk around 6:15 PM, resulting in injuries to five jawans, a BSF official said.
Srinagar: Terrorists launched a grenade attack at Indian Army’s 42 RR Camp on the security officials in Tral, Pulwama on late Monday night. Luckily, there have been no casualties. The Army officials also did a retaliatory firing on the terrorists, but the latter were successful in escaping as it was dark.This incident comes after terrorists attacked Border Security Force patrol vehicle in the Pantha chowk area on the outskirts of Srinagar city on Monday.
As per a BSF official, the gunmen opened fire on the BSF vehicle at the Pantha chowk around 6:15 PM, resulting in injuries to five jawans, a BSF official said.
Soon after the incident, the injured personnel who were belonging to the 163rd battalion were rushed to the hospital and the one jawan was in serious condition.
Security forces soon cordoned off the area and launched a hunt to track down the attackers.
