'Strived To Uphold Dignity, Enhance Livelihoods Of Poorest': PM Modi On 9 Years Of NDA Govt

BJP is celebrating the nine years of PM Narendra Modi-led Central government. On the occasion, the PM shared what India has achieved in terms of poverty, health infrastructure and more.

The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and its allies in the ruling NDA government at the Centre are coming up with the achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government in the last nine years. Modi 2.0 completed nine years on Tuesday. On the occasion, PM Modi said that he and his government have always strived to uphold the dignity and enhance the livelihoods of India's poorest. The PM tweeted the photo when he was washing the feet of the Shramveer during a programme.

"Over the past 9 years, we have strived to uphold the dignity and enhance the livelihoods of India's poorest. Through numerous initiatives, we have transformed millions of lives. Our mission continues - to uplift every citizen and fulfill their dreams. #9YearsOfSeva," the Prime Minister said.

Meanwhile, BJP national president J P Nadda said Prime Minister Narendra Modi keeps the resolution of 'Antyodaya' and service paramount in his policies, and his government is ensuring that benefits of welfare schemes reach the last man in the queue, reported PTI. 

He said that basic needs like health, education, economic self-reliance, road, water, and electricity reached the country’s remote areas during the nine years of the prime minister Modi’s government. 

In a tweet, Nadda tweeted, "Nine years of the Modi government have been of service, good governance and poor welfare, Nadda tweeted. Historic achievements have been made in the areas of national security, self-reliance, global prestige, economic strengthening etc." 

The reach of the government's welfare schemes is being ensured to the person at the end of the queue. Basic needs like health, education, economic self-reliance, road, water, electricity have reached remote areas, he said in a series of tweets. In the 'Amrit Kaal of Independence', the BJP president said in a series of tweets. 

Nadda said that the country is marching ahead on the path of progress with full confidence and enthusiasm with the resolve of becoming a developed India. "While many of the developed countries have not been able to come out of the crisis precipitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, India is moving forward on the path of development at a fast pace," he added.
