19-year-old Srishti Goswami has been serving as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand's Bal Vidhan Sabha and now she has become the Chief Minister of the state on the occasion of National Girl Child Day. A children's assembly will be held in Room No. 120 of the legislative assembly building where a host of departments will give their presentations.
Review Development Work
In May 2018, the teenager was elected as the Chief Minister of Bal Vidhan Sabha by fellow legislators. In Bal Vidhan Sabha, a Chief Minister is chosen every three years.
Daulatpur village situated in Bahadurabad block of Haridwar is going to be registered in the pages of history as Srishti Goswami who hails from the village is set to review the development work carried out in Uttarakhand in her role of one-day CM. Officers of 12 departments will give 5-minute presentations on their respective departmental plans.

Srishti Goswami's father Praveen Puri runs a grocery shop in Daulatpur, while her mother Sudha Goswami is a homemaker. Srishti is pursuing BSc in Agriculture from BSM PG College, Roorkee.
Srishti's parents are over the moon seeing their daughter's achievement. Her mother Sudha thanked the Trivendra Rawat-led government for considering her daughter worthy of the post. Her father Praveen considers her as an example for everyone to take inspiration from. "When one daughter can achieve this feat, what can stop others?" he said.
