Sopore Police Busts LeT Module In North Kashmir, 4 Terrorist Associates Arrested
Police busts terror module involving the grenade attack in North Kashmir.
New Delhi: Police on Tuesday busted a module of Lashkar-e-Taiba and arrested 4 associates of a terrorist outfit. A police official said that the grenade incident was solved after Sopore Police along with 52RR and CRPF busted the terror module.

He said that on specific information regarding the presence of LeT terrorists in general area Pothka Muqam/Chanpora Athoora, PC Sopore along with 52RR and CRPF launched CASOs simultaneously at different locations and apprehended 4 LeT terrorist associates namely
1) Irfan Ahmed Mir S/O Mohd Maqbool Mir R/O Putkha
2) Irfan Ahmed Khan S/O Gulam Mohd Khan R/O Putkha
3) Qaiser Rehman Khan S/O Ab Rehman Khan R/O Putkha
4) Suhail Ahmed Ganie S/O Gulam Mohd Ganie R/O Chanpora, Athoora.
While giving further information the official said that during the interrogation, all confessed to a grenade attack on Police Post Putkha on directions of LeT militants Fayaz Ahmed War/Umar and Pakistani terrorist Usman as a test for them to join militant ranks of LET organization.
The police also said, "All are in touch with militants through different social media apps. All four have been arrested in grenade attack case FIR No 48/2020 U/S 307, 7/27 IPC, 16 ULAP Act P/S Tarzoo by Sopore Police and further investigation into the case is going on."
