Kejriwal stated: "Sharad Pawar has assured us that NCP will support us in defeating in Rajya Sabha the bill to replace the Centre's ordinance against the Delhi government."

The day after his meeting with Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), Arvind Kejriwal held discussions with Sharad Pawar, the head of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre in Mumbai on Thursday. Speaking with press, Kejriwal stated: "Sharad Pawar ji has assured us that NCP will support us in defeating in Rajya Sabha the bill to replace the Centre's ordinance against the Delhi government. We are trying to gather support from all non-BJP parties," news agency ANI reported.

"Tomorrow, I will seek time from Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi to meet them on this issue: Delhi CM & AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Centre's ordinance against Delhi govt," Kejriwal further stated.

Sharad Pawar highlighted the crisis withing the country, and stated that "we must focus on bringing all non-BJP parties together."

Pawar further stated that: "NCP and the people of Maharashtra will support Kejriwal. We will also talk to other leaders to support Kejriwal."

Bhagwant Mann, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Chief Minister of Punjab, were together. The NCP chief had discussions with various party leaders such as Atishi and Raghav Chadha.

On Tuesday evening, Arvind Kejriwal made his way to Mumbai. They paid a visit to Uddhav Thackeray, the president of Shiv Sena (UBT), at his home on Wednesday.

The leader conducted a meetings with NCP Chief as a part of a countrywide campaign to increase backing for the AAP's battle against the Centre's ordinance.

CM Kejriwal alleged that the ordinance indicates a lack of faith in the Supreme Court by the Narendra Modi government. He made these remarks while speaking to the media after his meeting with Thackeray. He claimed that the federal government is utilizing central authorities such as the CBI and ED to overthrow regional administrations.

The Centre issued an ordinance on Friday to establish an organization responsible for reallocating and assigning Group-A officials in Delhi. The AAP administration deemed it a misrepresentation of the Supreme Court ruling regarding authority over services.

The legislation was enforced seven days after the Supreme Court granted authority of services in Delhi, with the exception of police, public order, and land, to the government that was elected. It aims to establish a governing body, known as the National Capital Civil Service Authority, to manage the relocation and disciplinary actions of Group-A officials from the DANICS field.

Uddhav Thackeray supported Kejriwal's stance and emphasized the relevance of the Supreme Court's directive in preserving democracy.
