Security Forces Gun Down Two Unidentified Terrorists In Kulgam's Nagnad-Chimmer Area, Operation Still On
The Indian Army on Thursday said that it foiled an infiltration bid in Pharkita area in Keran sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara sector along Line of Control.
Security forces eliminated two terrorist in an encounter that broke out at Nagnad-Chimmer area of Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday (July 17) morning, reported ANI.

The Indian Army on Thursday said that it foiled an infiltration bid in Pharkita area in Keran sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara sector along Line of Control.
As per army officials, a group of 3 to 4 militants attempted to infiltrate in Gen area of Machikmari in Keran sector of Kupwara.
Officials said that “During which contact was established around 4:30 PM, while operation is on process, where as one militant is likely to be killed. Whereas, further details being ascertained”, he added.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar while confirming the incident said that two militants including a Pakistani were killed in an encounter.
Earlier on July 13. two Jaish militants including a commander were killed and a lady injured in a gunfight with security forces in Srigufara area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district.
As part of the 'Operational All Out', the Indian Army along with the help of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF have been able to eliminate the roots of terrorism in the Kashmir Valley by carrying out extensive encounters, which has seen some of the major commanders of terror groups being eliminated.
