Sameer Wankhede Presents Birth Certificate In Court Amid Row Over Fake Documents
The set of documents presented also includes his school leaving certificate from a school in Wadala, where his father's name has been mentioned as Gyandev and is said to belong to a scheduled caste.
Recently, Maharashtra State Minister Nawab Malik had accused Sameer Wankhede of getting a government job by using a fake birth certificate. He also held a press conference on Thursday to discuss Wankhede's fake birth certificate and shared his 'real birth certificate' on Twitter.
Nawab Malik made two tweets, one with Wankhede's photo with the sub-text "Can you identify him?". In the second tweet, he shared a birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation, mentioning Sameer's father's name as 'Dawood K. Wankhede' and his religion as 'Muslim'.
On the other hand, Malik levelled another allegetion that Wankhede had 'framed' his neighbour, who is also an IPS officer's son, in a fake NDPS case. After a tussle with his neighbour, Wankhede is alleged to have filed a case under Section 27A to get his son arrested.
