'Rozgar Mela Becoming New Identity Of BJP Govt': PM Modi As He Distributes 70,000 Appointment Letters

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday distributed 70,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in various government departments via video conferencing in a Rogar Mela.
Addressing the event, PM Modi said, "More than 70,000 youth have been given appointment letters today. The 'Rozgar Mela' has become a new identity of the NDA-BJP government."
Notably, the Rozgar Mela initiative was launched in October last year and Tuesday's event was held at 43 centers.
"This is a very crucial period for those stepping into governmental roles as 'Azadi Ka Amrit Kaal' has started, where the new appointees will carry the goal of making India into a developed country in the next 25 years," Modi added.

The recruitments are taking place across Central government departments and several state governments/UTs are also supporting the initiative.
The new recruits, selected from across the country, will be joining the government in various departments, including the Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, and the Department of Higher Education.
Other departments in which the new recruits will be joining are the Ministry of Defence, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Railways, Department of Audit and Accounts, Department of Atomic Energy and Ministry of Home Affairs, among others, said the PMO.
The Rozgar Mela is a step towards the fulfilment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord the highest priority to employment generation in the country, said the official release.
The Rozgar Mela or Employment Fair is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development, the PMO further said.
