Ishita Shukla, daughter of Instagramned-politician Ravi Kishan, is all set to join the defence forces. She will be a part of the Defence Forces under the Agnipath scheme launched by the Central government last year. The Union Cabinet on June 14, 2022, approved 'Agnipath' a recruitment scheme for Indian youth to serve in the armed forces. Selected youth under the scheme will be known as 'Agniveers' and they will be offered an opportunity to apply for enrolment in the permanent cadre.  

Ravi Kishan took to his social media to share the news about her 21-year-old daughter.

Apart from Ishita, Ravi Kishan, 53, has three more children - Riva, Tanishk and Saksham. Earlier this year, the BJP MP shared Ishita's desire of joining the defence forces. In January, the actor took to Instagram to reveal that his daughter was working hard for the past three years. He also said that his daughter is a cadet of 7 Girls Battalion of Delhi Directorate.

"My brave daughter Ishita Shukla has been working very hard for the past 3 years to serve our nation. She is a cadet of 7 Girls Battalion of Delhi Directorate, training in this bitter cold and fighting the fog for the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path. Proud moment as a father cuz On 26th January, she will take part in national parade in front of Hon'ble President Smt. @durapadi_murmu ji and Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and the entire nation.
