Bizarre! 'Chip Made Of Cowdung Can Reduce Mobile Radiation,' Claims Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog Chief

The Chairman of the Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog has claimed that a chip made out of cow dung has the ability to reduce radiation from mobile phones.

New Delhi: During a nationwide campaign ‘Kamdhenu Deepawali Abhiyan’, the Chairman of Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog, Vallabhbhai Kathiria made the bizarre claim that cow dung is “anti-radiation”. He made the statement while launching a chip made of cow dung during the ‘Kamdhenu Deepawali Abhiyan’ which has been started to promote cow dung products. The Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog was constituted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the conservation, protection, and development of cows and their progeny and direction to the cattle development programmes as the livestock economy sustains nearly 73 million households in rural areas. In the press conference, Kathiria said, "Cow dung will protect everyone, it is anti-radiation... It's scientifically proven...This is a radiation chip that can be used in mobile phones to reduce radiation. It will safeguard against diseases," he said.

This year Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog has started a campaign to celebrate a pollution-free Diwali. For this, it has introduced several products made from cow-dung, including earthen lamps, candles, and idols of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi. This is not the first time a BJP leader has made such a bizarre, unscientific claim. Earlier, BJP MP Arjun Ram Meghwal claiming that a papad name ‘Bhabhi Ji Papad’ can cure Coronavirus. Last year, BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya had claimed that a mixture of gau mutr (cow urine) and other cow products cured her cancer.
