On Thursday, devotees started arriving in Ayodhya on the occasion of 'Paush Purnima' and thousands were seen taking a holy dip in the Saryu river. On Wednesday, the temple management decided to let people offer prayers from 6 am to 10 pm, and allotted 15 minutes for 'aarti' and 'bhog' from 12 noon. Earlier, it was 7 am to 6 pm with a two-hour break in between.
On Tuesday, a massive crowd of devotees broke through security lines for a 'Darshan' of Shri Ram Lalla. The massive crowd broke the police lines as devotees of Ram Lalla began flocking to the temple. Within the premises of the temple, a line has been opened for worshippers so that they can sit there and wait for the darshan, according to an official.
Speaking with ABP News, Ayodhya's Additional director general of police Piyush Mirodia stated: "The massive crowd is the devotion of the people. We want people to have darshan. Darshan has not been stopped. Everyone will be facilitated. This is not a failure of the administration."
According to an official, entry of vehicles has been closed. Devotees are coming on foot. Worshippers flocked to Ayodhya's Ram Temple on Tuesday to catch a glimpse of the Ram Lalla idol, which was sanctified on Monday. The Pran Pratishtha was attended by notable figures from politics, film, sports, and other fields.
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony and unveiled the Ram Lalla idol today. The event was attended by thousands, including seers and prominent personalities and the entire nation was glued to the televisions to witness the event.
The consecration ceremony in the garbha griha, or the sanctum sanctorum, was attended by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and UP CM Yogi Adityanath as well. After the consecration ceremony, PM Modi performed aarti, pushpanjali, and ended the rituals with a 'parikrama', or revolution around the garbha griha, and a 'dandavat pranaam'.
Top UP Officials Take Stock Of Arrangements At Ram Temple
Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad and Director General (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar visited Ayodhya on the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to assess the arrangements there, a statement issued by the state government said.
Accompanied by the inspector general of police, divisional commissioner, district magistrate, senior superintendent of police, and other officials, the two senior officers toured the Ram temple complex, the statement said.

Uttarakhand CM To Visit Ayodhya Temple After Feb 10
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami says, "Since the devotees are coming to Ayodhya in large numbers right now. If we go there too right now, it will be difficult to make the arrangements. So, we have decided to reschedule our program (to visit Ayodhya) after February 10."
