The highly anticipated inauguration of the Ram Mandir took place in a grand ceremony, marking a historic moment for the nation. PM Modi attended the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, which commenced at 12:20 pm.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony was performed by PM Modi on Monday following which the idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled.

To make this occasion even more special, the Indian Air Force choppers showered flower petals over Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple premises in Ayodhya.

PM Modi then broke his fast after concluding the consecration ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. He was on a fast since past 11-day for the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Prime Minister broke his fast by drinking water by the hands of Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj.
