In the virtual meeting of social media workers, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi said, "Those who are afraid will go to BJP, BJP includes people by showing fear".
According to sources, Rahul once again targeted Jyotiraditya Scindia and said, "Scindia ji became afraid and joined RSS, Scindia ji was afraid that BJP would take my palace, my home so he went to BJP".
Rahul said that those who are afraid will go to BJP, those who are not afraid will remain in Congress. Apart from Scindia, Jitin Prasad had also recently left the Congress and joined the BJP.
Rahul said that the party needs fearless people - those who are afraid can go and run, they are not needed.
Along with this, Rahul Gandhi asserted that the fearless people in the other party are theirs. "There're many fearless people, who are not in Congress. They should be brought in and the Congressmen who are afraid of (BJP) should be shown the exit door. We don't need those who believe in RSS ideology. We need fearless people," he said.
Significantly, in the last few years, many major leaders of Congress have joined BJP. Before Jyotiraditya Scindia and Jitin Prasad, Congress leaders like Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Hemant Biswa Sharma, Jagdambika Pal, Chaudhary Birender Singh, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and Narayan Rane left Congress and joined BJP.
