Rahul Gandhi Meets Coolies At Anand Vihar Station, Wears Porter Dress And Badge. WATCH

Days after a video went viral where coolies of Delhi's Anand Vihar Railway Station expressed their desire to meet Gandhi, the Congress leader paid a visit to the station and interacted with them.

Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met coolies at Anand Vihar Railway Station in Delhi. In a video shared on X, Gandhi can be seen sitting with the coolies at the station. The Congress MP's visit came days after many coolies expressed their desire to meet him.

One of the persons who was present at Anand Vihar ISBT when Gandhi was meeting coolies said, "Extremely happy that Rahul Gandhi met auto drives and coolies here (Anand Vihar). He said he will put forth our issues in front of the government," as quoted by PTI.

During the interaction with coolies in the national capital, Gandhi was seen wearing coolie dress and badge.

Rahul Gandhi Interacts With Vegetable Vendors During Surprise Visit To Delhi's Azadpur Mandi

Earlier in August, Rahul Gandhi visited Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi. In a video shared by the Congress, Gandhi was seen interacting with vegetable and fruit vendors during his surprise visit. This visit came at a time when the prices of vegetables were on the rise. Specifically, tomatoes were in the news for their soaring prices. The rise in tomato prices was reported across the country and was not just limited to a particular region or geography. In key cities, it rose to as high as Rs 150–200 per kg.

Rahul Gandhi Met Farmers In Haryana

In July, the former MP, who was travelling from Delhi to Shimla, reached Haryana’s Sonipat. The former Congress President met farmers at various villages in Baroda, news agency ANI reported. During his stay, Gandhi joined the farmers in sowing as they worked in the fields in Baroda and Madina. Gandhi went into the field, plowed it with a tractor, and planted paddy. He also interacted with farmers and labourers in the field.
