The collapse involved a section of Telangana Secretariat's GRC cladding from fifth floor of South Block, which fell onto the vehicle belonging to chairman of Ramagundam Agriculture Market Committee.

A section of the newly constructed Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat in Hyderabad collapsed on a parked car while undertaking modification works near CM Revanth Reddy's office. In the incident, no injuries were reported as the area was unoccupied at the time.
The collapse involved a section of the glass-reinforced concrete (GRC) cladding from the fifth floor of the South Block, which fell onto the vehicle belonging to the chairman of the Ramagundam Agriculture Market Committee. The car sustained significant damage, but no one was inside it during the incident.
The collapse occurred near the chamber of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

The Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, located near Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad, was inaugurated by former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on April 30, 2023. The sprawling 28-acre complex, standing 265 feet tall and built over 10.5 lakh square feet, was constructed at a cost of Rs 616 crore.
Officials stated that the incident occurred while modifications were underway to comply with Vastu guidelines, as per a report on Telangana Today. The area near Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s chamber, where the collapse took place, was reportedly undergoing structural adjustments.
