This is the third time in the current year that Pakistan BAT team has attacked Indian Army Jawans. Earlier this year, Pakistan BAT team has claimed the lives of Indian soldiers and by crossing the Line of Control. The attack comes  after Pakistan released a second 'confessional' video of Indian National Kulbhushan Jadhav, who is holed up in Pakistan on allegations of being a spy. The "farsical" video released by Pakistan is considered as a sham by Indian Government. India issued a statement post the video release and said, “manufactured facts” cannot alter the reality in the case. Reacting strongly to Pakitsan’s farsical video, External Affairs Ministry said India expects Pakistan to ‘desist from attempting to influence the proceedings at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the case through false propaganda’.
