'Yuva Shakti Driving Force Behind India's Development': PM Narendra Modi At NCC Rally In Delhi

The NCC is celebrating its 75th anniversary. "India's time has arrived. The whole world is looking to India today, and the primary reason for this is India's youth," PM said at the NCC Rally in Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the annual National Cadet Corps (NCC) rally at Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi on Saturday.

While addressing the rally PM Modi stated: "India's time has arrived. Today, the whole world is looking to India, and the youth of India are the primary reason for this. 'Yuva Shakti' is the driving force behind India's development".

"NCC is celebrating its 75th anniversary. I thank those who have represented the NCC over the last 75 years for their contribution to nation-building. India is proud of the NCC cadets' determination and service spirit:" PM Modi added further.

"Number of our daughters in police and paramilitary forces has doubled in the last eight years: Prime Minister Modi at NCC rally," PM Modi said, emphasising the growth of female participation in NCC.

According to an official release from the Prime Minister's office on Friday, 196 officers and cadets from 19 foreign countries were invited to participate in the celebrations in the true Indian spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.

During the event, PM Modi released a special day cover as well as a commemorative and specially minted coin of Rs 75 denomination, commemorating NCC's 75 years of success.

The rally was held as a day-night event, with a cultural programme on the theme 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'.

The event took place the day after Prime Minister Modi delivered his 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' speech to parents, students, and teachers.
