PM Modi's High-Level Meeting Over Air Base Drone Attack Underway; Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, NSA Doval Present

As per the reports, many top officials, who work to ensure the security of the country, is also participate in this meeting.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chaired a high level meeting this evening to discuss about the receny drone attack which took place in Jammu & Kashmir on Sunday. According to reports, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval are also present in the meeting. 

As per the reports, many top officials, who work to ensure the security of the country, is also participate in this meeting. Sources close to ABP News said that there can be a discussion about the attack on the Air Force Base in Jammu and Kashmir. After the attack on the Air Force Base, all security institutions in Jammu and Kashmir have been put on high alert.

At present, the objective of the Government of India is that democracy should be started in Jammu and Kashmir and therefore election should be conducted as soon as the delimitation is completed. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with the leaders of Gupkar Dal in Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi, which was attended by 14 leaders of 8 political parties.

After this meeting, there has been a sudden increase in terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Therefore, the purpose of this meeting can also be to assess the security situation in the midst of the changing situation in Jammu and Kashmir and then accordingly make a strong strategy.

The high-level meeting is being held a day after Rajnath Singh concluded his two-day visit to Ladakh.

Home Ministry Hands Over Investigation Of Jammu Air Force Station Attack To NIA

The investigation of the attack on the Jammu Air Force Station has been officially handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The National Investigation Agency has summoned all the documents of the investigation done so far in this case from the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

NIA will register a case very soon and proceed with the investigation. Earlier, several agencies including the NIA, National Security Guard, along with local police and Air Force officials were investigating the terror attack, the first of its kind in the country.
