PM Modi Gets Emotional While Interacting With Varanasi Doctors, Pays Tribute To Those Who Died Of Covid
Prime Minister Narendra Modi became emotional as he reviewed the Covid situation in his parliamentary seat Varanasi.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the Varanasi doctors and health care staff in Varanasi via video conference. today PM lauded the frontline workers who are working day and night to treat the Covid victims.
PM Modi got emotional while speaking about those who died due to Covid and expressed grief for the families who lost their loved ones due to the brutal Coronavirus pandemic. PM Modi appreciated the doctors and healthcare workers of Varanasi who are working day and night to treat the patients and are completely dedicated to their duties.
PM Modi said, "Varanasi has set a great example by the way it has equipped Pt Rajan Mishra COVID hospital & increased the number of oxygen beds and ICU beds in the city, in such a short span of time."
Prime Minister also coined a new mantra of 'Jahan Bimar, Wahan Upchar' to tackle the Covid situation. PM Modi said, "With the concept of 'Jahan Bimar, Wahan Upchar', the practice of making containment zones to distributing door-to-door medicines in your city & villages is commendable."
PM Modi also focused the discussion on inoculation and said, "Vaccination has provided protection to our frontline workers, who could serve the people. In the coming days, we will be extending vaccine protection to everyone."
PM alerted everyone of the black fungus epidemic and said, "In our ongoing fight against COVID19, a new challenge of Black fungus has surfaced. We must focus on taking precaution and preparation to deal with it."
