Maha Kumbh 2025: PM Modi, Amit Shah, VP Dhankhar To Visit Pryagraj Festival. Check Schedule
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu will attend the Maha Kumbh and other festivities in February.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit the Maha Kumbh Mela on February 5.
Vice President Dhankhar will also take a holy dip at the Sangam on February 1. Meanwhile, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to attend on January 27, where he will take a holy dip at the Sangam, perform Ganga Puja, as well as meet with officials.
President Droupadi Murmu will also visit Prayagraj on February 10, during the visit, she will attend major events in the city.
Administrative and security measures are being strengthened to ensure the smooth and secure visits of these leaders. Security agencies have increased vigilance in anticipation of these visits, with enhanced surveillance at key intersections and event venues across the city.
On Tuesday, industrialist Gautam Adani attended the Maha Kumbh Mela. Adani began his visit to the Kumbh Mela with ISKCON temple. After visiting the camp of the temple in the fair, the businessman went on to offer prayers at the temple. He then helped in cooking at the Mahaprasad Seva Kitchen in the campus. After helping in making the food, Adani also served the prasad to pilgrims and later joined them in having the Mahaprasad, along with his family.
Then, the industrialist boarded a boat with his family and the pandits to offer prayers and participated in Ganga Puja rituals.

According to ANI, despite the chilly weather and fog conditions, a large congregation of devotees gathered at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Tuesday to take a dip in the ongoing Mahakumbh. On Tuesday morning, a dense layer of fog engulfed the Prayagraj city with inclement weather conditions in the city.
Maha Kumbh is one of the largest and most significant religious congregations in the world, held every 12 years at one of four locations in India. The next key 'snan' dates are: January 29 (Mauni Amavasya - Second Shahi Snan), February 3 (Basant Panchami - Third Shahi Snan), February 12 (Maghi Purnima), and February 26 (Maha Shivaratri).
