'If You Have So Much Love For Pakistan, Go There': Pawan Kalyan At Pahalgam Condolence Meet
Appealing to citizens to remain vigilant against divisive forces, Pawan Kalyan said, "Hindus have only one country, and if they are not allowed to live here, where would they go?"
In a strong statement amid national outrage over the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan said that individuals expressing support for Pakistan should consider relocating there.
'Hindus Have Only One Country': Pawan Kalyan
Speaking at a condolence meeting organised in Mangalagiri to honour the 26 victims of the April 22 terrorist attack, Pawan Kalyan criticised what he called "pseudo-secular voices" for defending Pakistan despite the brutal killing of civilians. "They are living in India but love Pakistan. I have seen some leaders speaking in debates. If you have so much love for Pakistan, please go to Pakistan," he said, as reported by IANS.
He particularly addressed conflicting narratives around the nature of the attack, stating that while bereaved families have alleged that victims were targeted based on their religion, some public figures continue to deny this.
"Kashmir is ours. Talking about terrorism for political gain is shameful," he said, as per a report on PTI.
Further, Kalyan said when he met Madhusudhan Rao’s wife and she said, "They went to Kashmir because it belongs to India. This is the only country for Hindus. Where else can we go?"
The actor-turned-politician also announced Rs 50 lakh financial assistance from the Jana Sena Party to the family of Madhusudhan Rao, a resident of Potti Sriramulu Nellore district, who lost his life in the attack while on a family trip to Kashmir.
Highlighting national unity, Pawan Kalyan stressed the need for a collective stance on terrorism. The Deputy CM noted that many people ridicule him for commenting on national matters, but he believes silence in such times is not an option.

Pawan Kalyan also underscored the need for public readiness in case of escalating conflict. "The national slogan of India is 'Satyameva Jayate', unlike America's 'In God We Trust'. We are beyond religion, we are beyond God. Truth is eternal," he said.
