Patna: 4 dead, 30 injured as speeding bus falls into trench after mowing down people

The accident took place near Dhanuki More in the Agamkuan station area in Patna. The bus was travelling to Samastipur from Patna.

New Delhi: In a major road mishap that took place on Friday in Bihar’s capital Patna, at least four people have lost lives and around 30 have been reported injured. The speeding bus which mowed down a large number of people drifted out of control and skidded down into a trench. The bus was en route to Samastipur from Patna. The accident took place near Dhanuki More in the Agamkuan station area. Locals and police immediately rushed to the accident site as soon as the information reached them and are trying to rescue those still stuck. Police are probing the accident. Patna: 4 dead, 30 injured as speeding bus falls into trench after mowing down people Patna’s Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj had confirmed the death of three people, however, as per updates, the number has gone up to four. Maharaj informed that the injured people have been taken to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) and Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) with the help of the local people. He said that those deceased have not yet been identified, as of now, police are conducting their probe.
