Patanjali food park to remain in UP itself, CM Yogi Adityanath assures Baba Ramdev
Angry from government’s laid back attitude, Patanjali Ayurveda Limited on Tuesday decided to end its Rs6000crore Food Park project, which they were about to begin in Greater Noida.
Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wedneday assured Yoga guru Baba Ramdev that Patanjali Ayurvda Limited Food Park won't be shifted outside the state. Yogi has also promised Ramdev to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Due to Uttar Pradesh government's disappointing attitude Patanjali was to shift its planned food park from Greater Noida. The decision came after Patanjali’s file was left unattended in UP Government’s office. "Patanjali to shift its planned food park from Uttar Pradesh due to state government disappointing attitude; lives of farmers could not be improved," Managing Director of Patanjali Ayurved Limited and co-founder of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Acharya Balkrishna told news agency ANI.
Baba Ramdev is said to be close to the BJP but reports of Patanjali's pull-out comes at a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi claims “There is an ease in doing business In India now”.
