'Whoever Comes Our Way...': MP Pappu Yadav Receives Death Threat From Lawrence Bishnoi Gang
Pappu Yadav received a death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, notably days after the Purnea MP said he would finish the entire gang within 24 hours if law permits.
Purnea MP Pappu Yadav said on Monday that he had received a death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which is a key suspect in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique.
"I received a threat and I have informed the DGP about the same," the MP told ABP News.
Notably, the threat comes days after the Lok Sabha MP said in a post on X that if the law permits, he would finish the entire network of Lawrence Bishnoi within 24 hours.
Reportedly Yadav received the threat through a WhatsApp audio call with the caller having a display picture of Lawrence Bishnoi.
When the caller asked if he was talking to Pappu Yadav, the MP impersonated saying that he was his personal assistant. "I am Pappu Yadav's PA. Tell me what is the order," Yadav asked. To this, the caller said, "No order... one should think before commenting on someone or speaking against someone. Do you understand what we are saying?"
Yadav responded by saying he has nothing against anyone, saying, "I generally tweet about any incident, any situation, it is just that." "It does not mean anything about any person or anything. This is a political tweet and political people tweet like this," he added.
The caller asked what is his enmity with Bishnoi to which Yadav said he had "no enmity."
While Yadav talks seemingly calmly, the caller said about "teaching lesson" threatening that it will not take the time to do a "bad deed". Yadav said that he had been a seven-time MP but the caller interrupted him saying they are not bothered with all these things and are not connected to politics.
"What we know is that whoever comes our way will meet the same fate as is being happening now," the caller said.
The Purnea MP replied saying no one was coming in their way and political things keep happening. "Speaking against someone is not political. We will take care of the rest. The purpose of my call was that you improve yourself or else we will take care of you in the future," the caller said.
