Operation Sindoor Updates: Indian Army launched a strong counter-offensive against Pakistan, completely destroying terrorist launchpads along the Line of Control.

The Indian Army has released a video montage, showing the targets it hit in Pakistan on the intervening night of May 8 and 9. "As a response to Pakistan's misadventures of attempted drone strikes on the night of May 8 and 9 in multiple cities of Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab, the Indian Army conducted a coordinated fire assault on terrorist launchpads, pulverising and razing them to cinders," the Army said.

The terrorist launchpads, located close to the Line of Control, were a hub for planning and executing terror attacks against Indian civilians and security forces in the past. The Indian Army's swift and decisive action has dealt a significant blow to terrorist infrastructure and capabilities.

India Targets Pakistani Defence Systems In Counter-Offensive

Pakistan, on the night of May 9 and 10, launched attacks on 26 locations in India using drones and missiles. India, in response brought down its weapons and launched a counter-offensive.

The targets were selectively chosen by Indian troops. These included technical installations, command and control centres, radar sites and arms depots. Indian airborne weapons and fighter jets hit military installations at Rafiki, Murid, Chaklala, Rahimyar Khan, Sukhur, and Chunia.

Aerial Combat Between Indian And Pakistani Jets

India and Pakistan engaged in the first aerial combat since the escalation of tensions following the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22. Fighter jets from both nations were involved in a rare dogfight early on Saturday morning. The clash followed a violation of Indian airspace by Pakistani aircraft, prompting a swift and forceful response from the Indian Air Force. The IAF's response forced the Pakistani jets to flee.

The dogfight was triggered after Pakistani jets entered Indian airspace over Jammu.
