VIDEO: Sirens, Complete Blackout In Jammu, Punjab's Amritsar As Pakistani Drones Try To Attack India

Operation Sindoor: As the second phase of Operation Sindoor unfolded, targeting Pakistan's aerial radar and missiles in retaliation to unprovoked attacks, Pakistan sent its drones to attack India.

A complete blackout has been enforced in Samba of Jammu Division and sirens can be heard. The development comes as Pakistani drones targeted Jammu & Kashmir. However, India's S-400 missile defence system brought down the Pakistani drones.

Two Pakistani drones were shot down near Jammu University.

A complete blackout has also been enforced in Punjab.

Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur, Aashika Jain, said, "An immediate blackout is being enforced across Hoshiarpur district, which will remain in effect until further notice." Pakistani troops resort to shelling along LoC in Kupwara and Baramulla districts of Jammu and Kashmir," say officials.

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has said: "India has negated Pakistan's escalation bid with focused, measured and non-escalatory response. Indian armed forces reiterate their commitment to non-escalation, provided it is respected by the Pakistani military."

Blackouts In Rajasthan

Blackout has been enforced in Anupnagar of Sri Ganganagar and Bikaner districts of Rajasthan. A few minutes ago, Pakistani drones were intercepted by Indian air defence in Jaisalmer. Explosions were heard and flashes in the sky could be seen.
