ONGC bags ICC PSE Excellence Award 2017

New Delhi [India], Aug 30 (ANI): Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has hogged the limelight at the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) PSE Excellence Awards 2017 by securing three awards in 'Operational Performance Excellence', 'Contribution of Women in PSEs' and 'Corporate Governance' categories at a function held here on Wednesday.

Dr. Alka Mittal, GGM (HR) and Director (HR) Designate received the awards on behalf of ONGC from Dr. Ajay Dua, Former Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. ONGC received the awards in the Maharatna category.

The PSE Excellence Awards have been instituted by Indian Chamber of Commerce in association with Department of Public Enterprises, Government of India to recognize excellence in public sector undertakings. An independent jury decided on the awards through a rigorous and transparent process. The evaluation framework was designed by a panel of eminent jury members who deliberated and decided on the winners in each category based on an organization's performance on pre-decided criteria.
