One BSF jawan killed and another injured in heavy Pak firing

New Delhi: Pakistan has violated ceasefire in RS Pura sector in Jammu, said Border Security Force (BSF). One BSF jawan has killed and another injured in heavy Pakistan firing. After a lull of nearly 48 hours, Pakistani Rangers resorted to small arms fire and mortar shelling on at least three places in the sector. Sushil Kumar, according to reports, died on Sunday night. Another BSF jawan and a local resident were injured in the ceasefire violation by Pakistan. Pakistan has stepped up cross-border firing after the Indian army conducted surgical strikes on September 29 to destroy terror launchpads in PoK. The injured BSF jawan is currently being treated at the Government Medical College in Jammu.
