'Not A Proxy War Anymore': PM Modi Targets Pakistan, Cites Footage And State Funerals For Terrorists

PM Modi attacked Pakistan, saying that it cannot call it proxy-war anymore after Operation Sindoor, adding that this time the Indian armed forces captured all the strikes on camera so it doesn't have to show evidence.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday slammed Pakistan, saying that the country cannot call it a proxy war anymore since it has given proof of backing terrorism itself by giving state honours to terrorists whose funerals were held after Operation Sindoor. He also said that India recorded everything on cameras during the precision strikes so it does not have to give any evidence later.

"Now we don’t have to provide proof, they are giving it themselves. That’s why I say this can no longer be called a proxy war. Because the terrorists whose funerals were held after May 6 were given state honors in Pakistan. Pakistan’s flags were placed on their coffins, and their army saluted them. This proves that terrorist activities are not a proxy war; this is a well-planned war strategy. You are already at war, and you will receive the response accordingly," PM Modi said while addressing a gathering in Gandhinagar.

He said that India was divided into two parts in 1947, and that the first ever terrorist attack happened on the same day, during which a part of Kashmir was taken away. PM Modi said that India has been suffering due to terrorism for the past 75 years, but now will not sit back and watch.

"In 1947, when 'Maa Bharti' (India) was partitioned, 'Katni Chahiye Thi Zanjeerein Par Kat Di Gai Bhujayein', the country was divided into three parts. On that very night, the first terrorist attack took place on the soil of Kashmir. A part of Maa Bharti was captured by Pakistan using terrorists on the name of mujahideen," he said.

PM Modi further said that if the Mujahideen had been killed in 1947, then the current situation would not have arisen. He hit out at Pakistan for launching a proxy war against India after realising that it could not win over the country.

"Whenever war broke out with Pakistan, all three times the Indian armed forces decisively defeated them. Realizing it couldn't win a direct battle, Pakistan resorted to proxy war. It began training militants and sending them into India. These trained terrorists targeted innocent, unarmed civilians, people traveling, sitting in hotels, or visiting as tourists," he said.

PM Modi continued his attack on Pakistan, saying that it cannot call it proxy-war anymore after Operation Sindoor, adding that this time the Indian armed forces captured all the strikes on camera so we don't have to show evidence. "We do not seek enmity with anyone. We want to live a peaceful life. We also want to progress so that we can contribute to the welfare of the world. That is why, with dedication, we are working committedly for the welfare of millions of Indians," he added.
