Noida: 9-yr-old boy gets stuck in swimming pool vent, admitted to hospital in critical condition

  New Delhi: The life of a nine-year-old was on stake, when he got stuck in the swimming pool vent while playing in the pool. The incident took place, on Wednesday evening, at Mahagun Moderne residential society at sector-78, Noida. Aditya Wardhan, 9, who lives with his parents at the Mantova Tower of the society, is now admitted to a hospital in a critical condition. The swimming pool, in which Aditya Wardhan dived, is around four to five foot deep. While playing in the pool, his hand got stuck in a vent at the bottom of the swimming pool. The lifeguards were present at the poolside, but they did not notice the boy for over five to six minutes. After which, one of the guards noticed that the boy is stuck in the swimming pool and they saved him by pulling him out of the swimming pool safely. Noida: 9-yr-old boy gets stuck in swimming pool vent, admitted to hospital in critical condition The lifeguards implemented CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) which helped the boy to breathe again. The boy was put on the ventilator support in the ICU of the hospital and is still in critical condition. A prayer meet was also organised by the society members for quick recovery of the boy. According to reports, there have been no police complaints filed by the victim’s family. They will seek the help of the police only after the recovery of the boy.
